I went to work for an ol boy when I was in my late teens who would take the new guy outside and tell em I need you to move that pile of dirt/sand from there to there,( about 4í) he did this to me, I went and got on the Bobcat, he waved me over and and said most guys would have grabbed a shovel, I looked at him and said ef that! He just smiled and said common.

We were eating lunch and the same guy tells us that something he does with the laborers is offer a dollar an hr raise if one of the guys can read 10 measurements off a tape in 60 seconds, he pulls the tape out and you read whatever measurement his thumbnail lands on. The catch is if you donít get it right you lose .50 an hour, it didnít look like there was gonna be any takers so I looked up and said Iíll do it, he just shook his head and said I wasnít a laborer.
I remember toting two bags of concrete at a time across a field to build a culvert bridge. Glad I don't have to labor anymore.

Great! I have a picture of the Grandmaster signed by Royce Gracie! Royce brought it back from Brazil right before the GM passed. Tell him to keep winning and Ill send it to him!

Have a buddy in Memphis that received his Black Belt from Royce, took a little over 16 years.

I will do that bud, he puts his time in. 3 hours of jitsu a day and gets up with me now to go to the gym at 3:30 in the morning. (Just started 2 weeks ago) he is seeing what hard work and dedication do for a person....

Well my little road trip to buy the wife a new ride is going about like I planned. I'm a lot further in debt and regardless of how many times she said we'd be able to drive straight there and straight back, it didn't happen. She got tired so we decided to spend the night in Athens and drive the rest of the way in the morning. I do like the new ride though, the red one is ours and the black one is the rental she's had since the wreck. It was pretty cool though driving through Athens Georgia with matching red and black vehicles lol.Anti-Thread Jacking Banter-20190615_181113_1560644927440.jpgAnti-Thread Jacking Banter-20190615_181133_1560644982956.jpg
I knew I should have brought some cigars with me. I did pick up some good beer to take back home though.

How many miles did you drive for the new ride?
Thereís 3 Mazda dealerships within an hour and a half of you.

The closest one to me actually had one exactly like the one we bought too. For $5500 more than what we paid for this one. Idon't mind driving 500 miles to save $5000. We basically were told by 3 different dealerships that we'd be better off going somewhere else.
