Sistema Trays by JTav8tor

For those out there that use Sistema "tupperdors" with cedar trays aka The Hawk-a-dor, our own @JtAv8tor has a new product solution available.

Rather than bag on the Amazon imported mdf trays, I'll focus on the JT tray: Solid, 1/4" Thick spanish cedar construction. All hand made. Runners on the bottom make for an offset to place Boveda packs under the tray without fear of smashing (See Pics). Also, there is room to place more boveda packs, if desired, between the tray and sistema wall. (I ended up putting my Caliber IV round hygrometer between there so i can see it from the side). Inside dimensions are roughly 11.5" x just short of 7".

The piece is nice enough that the pics can probably do most of the talking, but if anyone has further questions, just ask and I'll see what I can do.

*Disclaimer - JT and I talked about the tray concept and I provided him with a Sistema container to develop this prototype - in return, JT sent this item at no charge.

Not necessarily an improvement, but an add-on: Optional Dividers - I think the option to purchase dividers would come in handy.

That’s easy enough and can be an option

That looks awesome!! What size is the systema? I always seem to grab the wrong one. And how many gars will it hold on average? I know sizes vary but perhaps robusto or toro size for general idea.

232 oz Sistema is the one I did here

As for cigar size and numbers perhaps others can chime in for that size

Thanks. Last time I ordered a couple I found a sale on 2 101 oz thinking that rad right but they were way smaller than I expected. Still work great though.

I could probably do trays for the smaller ones but would be worried about the usable space left after that
