I've been using cheap V cutters for quite a while now and have really liked the cut. I butchered too many cigars though and finally ordered the Xikar earlier on Amazon for $32 shipped. I'm glad to see it gets good reviews. Looks to be pretty solid.

Just a follow-up -

I used my new VX v cutter on a 54 gauge toro that I had experienced too loose of a draw before using a PerfectCutter straight cut. Draw was much improved with the v cut, but just a tad tighter than I like. I made another v cut, to form an X. Perfect draw. The stick burned well and cool throughout. I ended up nubbing it with Jack's Modus Tool.

This cutter is a nice tool to have in the arsenal.

How can it be so wrong when it's so right hahaha. I will say this Colibri is not for every cigar. I when I saw a cut like this the first time I thought the draw would be to wide open but to my surprise it really works well.
