Xikar VX V Cutter : Your experiences ?

From what I hear yes. The way it's designed it doesn't tear the cap like a lot of V cutters because the blades are inverted. Also the cat's eye cut allows for more open tobacco.
And the whole thing about being guaranteed for life.

Look up pictures of the V cut and compare it to pictures of the VX cut. You'll choose xikar too

On half wheel they compare the xikar to the colibri. On the cut he says the colibri opens a lot sometimes too much. Maybe that's better suited for you? @Chris80

@Chris80 Xikar's Warranty & Service are superb, but I don't own this cutter (yet)

@Hudabear - I've been using a very sharp knife to cut my own v-notches. I think I'm going to give this XV a try.

Punch for 42g and under.
Xikar Xi3 for putting a Dickman on torps.
Xikar XV on all other round caps.

Haven't used my Perfect Cutter since my XV arrived a couple weeks ago.
Guessing I will next time I smoke a Corona Doble or another stick I know has a heavy tar build up.
